Single

In our pension scheme, you build up a retirement pension for yourself. We also reserve a pension for your partner (if appropriate), which we call partner's pension. We do this even if you are single.

Single on the date of retirement
If you are single on your retirement date we will convert the partner’s pension into an extra retirement pension for you. What happens if you are divorced? Any special partner's pension that your ex-partner is entitled to does not qualify for a trade-off. You will receive a statement from us showing your new pension entitlements.
